Day 324 – Slightly altered the concept for our pop-up holiday card. We are ready for production. The factory (me) starts cranking tomorrow.

Day 323 – Blank concept for a pop-up holiday card.

Day 322 – An alternative to the traditional wreath, I added acrylic gems and a silver bow to a simple swag of pine and juniper branches.

Day 321 – Altered a 3XL short sleeve tshirt into a fitted mini dress. I used the parts I cut off to add extra long sleeves and the concentric rectangle detail.

Day 320 – Put up holiday decorations and filled the Advent calendar with handmade treat packages tied with blank “I wish…” tags. We started this tradition when Adin was 2, and it is fun to read wishes from years ago. (Not intended as a shopping list.) Sometimes she wished for world peace, in between wishes for more Barbies. This is Stella’s first year to participate. First wishes for 2012? Adin wishes for an Xbox. Stella wishes for a pink puppy dog and a brush.

Day 319 – Made a three-tier “cake” with my girls using stuff from our recycle bin and fabric scraps. Better than the real thing – no sugar crash and less waist, oh, waste.

Day 318 – White on white collage using cardstock scraps from the tree topper I made yesterday.

Day 317 – Created a last minute tree topper for the Seven Peaks School float in the Christmas parade tomorrow.
