Day 275 – Starting the design for a kid’s mermaid costume.

Day 274 – I wanted to create a navy under layer for a shirt I made back on Day 227. But the shape and size of the gigantic XXL sleeves inspired me to shape them as wings on a fitted dress. (Little Stella was curious about the self-portrait I was trying to take for this post.)

Day 273 – We pulled out these old recycled dolls because Adin wanted to bring them to school for show&tell. I helped her add hands, feet, and hair to the little girl and then duct tape decoration to all three. She thinks the family needs a dog.

Day 272 – Putting together a new t-shirt with a face that can swap with the plush creature. (Taken with Instagram)

Day 271 – I modified the nesting puppet family design and and am creating paper mock-ups. (Taken with Instagram)

Day 270 – Concept sketch for plush, nested, puppet bear family with practice closures like buttons, ties, zipper, etc. I’ll prototype these soon. (Taken with Instagram)

Day 269 – Felted XL men’s wool sweater, cropped and tapered the fit, then stitched some abstract flowers on the front. I like this one, but it is super itchy to wear. (Taken with Instagram)
