Day 358 – Designed and cut out the pieces for a faux fur yoga mat tote bag. The top will close with a drawstring.

Day 357 – My creative time started very late at night, so I returned to a drawing started long ago. A single line drawing became my personal coloring page. I can’t believe I finally finished it!

Day 356 – More hula hoops. I can make a dozen from 100’ of irrigation tubing. That’s more than we can use at home, so I’ll donate them to Adin’s class.

Day 355 – Sketched an architectural plan the old-fashioned way using just an HB pencil and a scale.

Day 354 – Stella drew a swirl on a post-it, and I thought it looked like a curled up puppy. I am going to make a simple pillow shape and use different materials and embroidery to define the details of the puppy.

Day 353 – I started several things today and left all of them unfinished. Some days are just like that..

Day 352 – Made a companion t-shirt to a plushy. I altered a SM adult t-shirt to be an a-line dress on a child. The faces are attached with Velcro and can be swapped. There is also a writable surface under each face. Photographing purple/blue objects in incandescent light was so difficult. After an hour of trying several different neutral backgrounds, I finally tried fixing the color balance using the mobile Photoshop app.

Day 351 – Altered an XL men’s argyle sweater into a long a-line top. The sleeves were shortened by adding 3 pleats at the elbow, and then I added my signature nested rectangles using the leftover scraps.

Day 350 – Finished embellishing an altered t-shirt. I freehand stitched my current favorite design, nested rectangles cut from leftover scraps. Again, too bad for the lousy late night lighting and photo.
