Day 203 – My 2yr old loves to “write,” so I often find scribbled scraps of paper around the house. Every once in awhile something catches my eye and I stop to look at the scribbles more carefully. This time I sketched over her lines until a new image appeared. I saw a cat-like creature. He was awoken by a pesty fly buzzing around his head, and got tangled in the cord of the lamp he was napping under. Ahh scribbles. So much possibility. (Taken with Instagram)

Day 210 – Tie dye is also a requirement when camping at the Lair. Even my toddler can twist and tie a t-shirt. I think it’s appropriate that her bull’s eye ended up with devil horns. 😉 (Taken with Instagram)

Day 237 – How hard can it be to create a magnetic chalkboard to cover the ladder on my toddler’s bunkbed? The chalkboard paint was a lumpy mess, so I sanded and sanded and sanded – and sanded. The end result is a magnet board with a distressed patina. (Taken with Instagram)

Day 199 – Faux fur vest is a bit oversized, but she loves it anyway. “Me, pink!” She can wear/love it for years. (Taken with Instagram)

Day 198 – So close to finishing this faux fur vest for my toddler. A more experienced sewer would have known that you can’t sew up all sides and the arm holes and then turn it right-side out. Arghh. I really dislike ripping stitches out. (Taken with Instagram)
