Day 337 – Collage using magazine scraps.

Day 336 – Creating a collage pop-up thank you card – because after all the making and giving and receiving this season, there is so much for which I am grateful.

Day 335 – I was able to add a second layer of skirt and tassel to save yesterday’s project from the scrap bin. Adin was willing enough to wear it for this photo – but she said, in all the blaring honesty of childhood, that it still is not what she envisioned and she would never wear it for real. That’s OK. I wouldn’t either. And that’s OK too. It was fun to make.

Day 334 – Adin asked if I could make her a tassel mini-skirt from a t-shirt. So while she was at school, I made an interpretation of her description. Nope. Not what she envisioned. In addition, my measurements were off and it was way too short. Well, some projects are like that. And, I still have no idea what she really wanted.

Day 333 – I needed to make a collage today – just because. It’s a minimal composition with 26 windows using cardstock over a winter photo printed on vellum.

Day 332 – Stella and Adin each made a tree ornament by threading pieces cut from a sweatshirt, a felted wool sweater, and a remnant of flannel onto hanger wire. A jingle bell hangs below, and a felt star caps the top.

Day 331 – Felted ball bell ornaments for my girls.

Day 330 – Busy day. Preparing samples and materials for crafting with 3rd graders, and boxing up handmade gifts, and making more wish tags for the advent calendar, and…
A day of checking off tasks is productive and rewarding, but not as creatively satisfying.

Day 329 – Lots of felted ball ornaments for the tree.
