Day 319 – Made a three-tier “cake” with my girls using stuff from our recycle bin and fabric scraps. Better than the real thing – no sugar crash and less waist, oh, waste.

Day 318 – White on white collage using cardstock scraps from the tree topper I made yesterday.

Day 317 – Created a last minute tree topper for the Seven Peaks School float in the Christmas parade tomorrow.

Day 316 – I found a beautiful origami snowflake design by Jared Needle and I challenged (tortured) myself to make one from glossy brochure paper. The image on the paper is a detail photograph of snow on Ponderosa Pines. I will make more of these, but only from the proper lightweight paper.

Day 315 – I made a couple hula hoops for the girls. Thanks to the plethora of duct tapes available these days, Stella’s is decorated with her favorite Hello Kitty. Adin’s is turquoise and purple tie dye. Plenty of leftover polyflex tubing to make many more hoops.

Day 314 – Origami fir trees. I printed a green collage as well as an image of bark onto brochure paper.

Day 313 – Cutting out figures for the upcoming winter music program at my daughter’s school.

Day 312 – My first experiment using elastic thread to create a baby-doll dress from a giant t-shirt is, well, still an experiment.

Day 311 – Sketch of grain silo along Route 97.
